“If you had to describe yourself as a vegetable I think I’d be an onion. Onions go great on everything, they give a little kick to your food, and it consists of multiple layers…yet you either love ‘em or hate ‘em. Well besides my hobby of comparing myself to vegetables, I also enjoy discovering and exploring the culinary world around me. From great restaurants to breweries, to checking out my local farmers market down the street; I love enjoying and supporting what the Sacramento region has to offer.
As the Creative Cultivator for EatFarmToFork.com, I’m excited in sharing my verbal and visual take on the story behind what makes Sacramento the Farm-to-Fork Capitol of America. Let’s enjoy, celebrate and share in the experiences of being part of the Farm-to-Fork movement and start building a dialog about the freshest city in America…Keep Sacramento Fresh!“
“I am the commander-n-chief, editor and creative director of our humble little offering to the Farm-to-Fork tribe. I also am responsible for contributing content when my foodie muse inspires. I am a local musician and art buff and have taught class at the local community college off and on as an Adjunct Professor in the Graphic Communications department. The advertising and marketing worlds have been my career playground for the past 20 years. I have worked for various creative agencies in the Sacramento, California region in that time.
I will be the first to admit that I am new to the F2F movement; BUT…I have been eating food my entire life. Soooo, whether that counts towards becoming an expert in all things food, I don’t know. I sure am looking forward to the very tasty process of finding out, here at Eat Farm-to-Fork.com”
“I’m the Project Manager for Eat Farm to Fork and couldn’t be more proud to be a part of an influential community initiative. My background is marketing in media (radio and TV), digital and events.
I grew up in a small city in Washington State and lucky to have access to fresh fruits that I could pick from the trees in my backyard. I believe that farm to fork is about supporting local and education. I love discovering new events in Sacramento and learning about the agriculture community. Say hello if you see me around town!“
