Did you know blueberries can grow well both in the ground or in a pot?! So if you’re limited on space, grab a pot and get those blueberries growing. The most important key to growing these juicy little berries, is the type of soil they are planted in – they require soil with a low pH. Also note, blueberries grow best in full sun.

  • 5-7 gallon pot
  • Blueberry plants
  • E.B. Stone Azalea, Camellia Acid Soil Mix
  • E.B. Stone Sure Start Organic Fertilizer
  • E.B. Stone Organic Fruit & Berry Food

Step 1: Fill your pot with 2/3 of E.B. Stone Organic Azalea, Camellia Acid Soil Mix.  This mix is ready to use right out of the bag and is excellent for blueberries because it has a low pH due to the peat moss content

Step 2: Gently lift your blueberry plants out of the grower pots and massage the roots

Step 3: Place the plant in the pot and sprinkle E.B. Stone Sure Start Organic Fertilizer on the roots to help reduce transplant shock

Step 4: Fill the remainder of the pot with E.B. Stone Organic Azalea, Camellia Acid Soil Mix. Gently press the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.

Note: *Be sure to feed with E.B. Stone Fruit & Berry Food and water regularly throughout the growing season.

Enjoy having these delicious blueberries to pick from your patio or backyard to add to your springtime salads & recipes!

When mixing into your native soil we recommend a 75/25 ratio (75% Acid Mix to 25% native soil)
