Traveling on the road, especially if you’re a musician, can make it difficult to eat healthy, fresh and local. We got to hang out with some of the bands at this year’s Radio 94.7 City of Trees, and asked them how they eat healthy and farm-to-fork while being traveling rockstars city to city.

Sarah Fazio, Blink-182’s Tour Chef, shared with us that it is very important in planning fresh and healthy meals for the vegans and strict vegetarian band members in order for them to stay active and vibrant on stage.

In speaking with Travis Barker, drummer from Blink-182, he is a hardcore vegan and always eats as much as possible, fresh local organic ingredients to keep his stamina on stage. He also admired Sacramento for having a lot of vegan restaurants to chose from – Rock On Sacramento!
